Seth Meyer

Assistant Secretary

I’m a radio enthusiast who’s always curious about how things work and what’s going on out there on the airwaves. I enjoy digging into new gear, exploring different technologies.

One of the things I value most about GMRS, Amateur Radio, and LoRa (Mesh) is their role in emergency communication and preparedness. When phones or the internet go down, radio still works, and being able to stay informed or help relay information can make a real difference.

For me, it’s a mix of curiosity, learning, and knowing there’s real-world value behind the hobby.

Kell Bisson

Treasurer

My name is Frank (Kell) Bisson and I have recently begun to fill the role of Treasurer for the club. I have had a lifelong interest in radios and joining the club has been a great way to pursue that passion.

I am glad to be contributing my time to the club. Feel free to reach out to me using our Contact Form.

Rob Millette

Emergency Communications Chairman

Robert Millette (WRQV377, KC1KWC) is the Emergency Communications Coordinator with 25 years of experience in radio operations starting in the military.

Robert is the Deputy Director of Braintree Emergency Management, where he has conducted and participated in check-in nets on Amateur Radio and GMRS. He has also been responsible for upgrades to radio systems.

They regularly utilize radio communications in the types of events the Association wants to be part of.  Robert is also the Campus Safety Director for the St. Sebastian’s School and has 20 years of experience in Public Safety roles where radio use has been required for both dispatching and communications during incidents.

Robert has strong connections throughout the region, working closely with ARES, as a Volunteer Examiner with the K1USN/BEMA team, and as a member of the Community Emergency Response Teams of Massachusetts Association as a member of the communication committee.

Robert’s degree in Atmospheric Science gives him a strong background applying Meteorology to his tasks, and he has been a long time Weather Spotter working with SKYWARN and has also spent time working at the Blue Hill Observatory.
