One of the things I value most about GMRS, Amateur Racommunication and preparedness. When phones or the internet go down, radio still works.
Being able to stay informed or help relay information can make a real difference. For me, it’s a mix of curiosity, learning, and knowing there’s real-world value behind the hobby. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Seth Meyer
Assistant Secretary
I’m a radio enthusiast who’s always curious about how things work and what’s going on out there on the airwaves. I enjoy digging into new gear, exploring different technologies.
One of the things I value most about GMRS, Amateur Radio, and LoRa (Mesh) is their role in emergency communication and preparedness. When phones or the internet go down, radio still works, and being able to stay informed or help relay information can make a real difference.
For me, it’s a mix of curiosity, learning, and knowing there’s real-world value behind the hobby.
